This morning, we were privileged to host the Man, the Myth, the Legend himself - Mr. Myles Rademan!
Myles’ list of contributions and accomplishments is both deep and wide, having been one of the most influential figures shaping Park City for over 40 years.
As the town’s Planning Director and then Public Affairs Manager, he helped transform Park City from a sleepy former mining town to a world-class mountain resort destination. He was instrumental in securing and preparing for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. He worked hard to preserve the area’s natural beauty and historic character by protecting unique landscapes and iconic structures. And, last but not least, he created and led the Leadership Park City program for three decades.
Myles is a living Master Class in thoughtful growth, environmental stewardship, civic participation, collaborative partnerships, and community service. He has helped create a culture of community leadership and public service that will continue to influence and shape Park City for many years to come.
Most importantly, Myles has modeled a leadership style rooted in humility, patience, grace, and respect that focuses on seeking mutual understanding and finding common ground. We were grateful to have him share a sliver of his expertise and insight with us.
