We strive to improve the lives of animals and the people who love them. We rescue and rehabilitate dogs, cats, and farm animals and help them find their forever families. You can find our Adoption Center tucked between the Express and Calvin Klein stores at The Outlets at Park City in Kimball Junction. We work to save the most vulnerable animals in our region's shelters. Many of them are overcrowd

ed and underfunded, leaving thousands of cats and dogs to an uncertain fate. We take these animals in, even if they have a complicated or costly medical problem, are seniors, are injured, are pregnant or nursing, or have special needs. Over the last 30 years, we've saved over 25,000 lives. We'll stop at nothing to build a world . Thank you in advance for your support! Searching the galaxy for a forever home, here's Vader!

Vader is built like a classic tomcat but has the personality of a professional lounger. Most days you'll find him curled up in a cozy spot, watching the world go by with those sleepy eyes. But don't be fooled into thinking he's uninterested. A quiet hello, a few chin scratches, or simply sitting with him while he enjoys a meal is often all it takes to earn some slow blinks and a new best friend.

Vader is 3.5 years old, social, sweet, and perfectly content spending his days in the company of people who appreciate life's slower moments. He's the kind of cat who doesn't demand attention but is always happy when it comes his way.

Vader is FIV+, but don't let that scare you away. Many FIV+ cats live long, happy lives and make amazing pets. FIV is primarily transmitted through deep bite wounds, not through casual day-to-day interactions. If you'd like to learn more, our Adoption Counselors would be happy to chat with you about what bringing Vader home could look like.

We know a few puppies who would love to meet you.

Join Nuzzles & Co and Petco this Saturday from 11 AM–2 PM at the Park City Petco for an adoption event featuring some of our adoptable dogs and puppies. Kittens will be back in the condos as well! Whether you're actively searching for a new best friend or just want to stop by for some puppy kisses, we'd love to see you there.

Can't make it to Petco in time? Don't worry. After the event, our adoptable dogs will head back to the Nuzzles Adoption Center, where you can continue meeting available dogs throughout the afternoon.

Come say hello. Your future best friend might be waiting. ❤️🐶

⚠️ Due to an unforeseen power outage at Junction Commons, our Adoption Center will be closed today.

For our cat volunteers, you're still welcome to come socialize with the kitties as scheduled.

Dog walkers who were planning to walk at the Adoption Center are welcome to head to the Rescue Ranch instead. The dogs will be spending the day there enjoying some extra playtime and fresh air.

We apologize for the inconvenience, thank you for your understanding and appreciate your flexibility. We'll be back to our regular schedule tomorrow! 🐾

Stretch, breathe, and support rescue pets. 🧘‍♀️🐾

Join our friends at Summit Yoga for Yoga in the Park on Sunday, June 14 at 9:30 AM at the south end of City Park.

This donation-based class is open to all levels, and 15% of donations will help support the animals in Nuzzles' care. It's a great way to start your Sunday while giving back to pets waiting for loving homes.

Then, keep the good vibes going and head over to Park Silly Sunday Market, where you'll find some of our adoptable Nuzzles' pals looking for their forever homes. Who knows? Your perfect yoga-to-adoption Sunday might be waiting for you. ❤️

We didn't expect to see Hockey again.

When Olympic's puppies started finding homes, we thought Hockey's rescue story had reached its happy ending. Unfortunately, a major life change for his adopter meant they could no longer keep him, and Hockey found himself back at Nuzzles.

The good news? Hockey hasn't let that slow him down one bit.

Still every bit the happy, growing puppy we remember, Hockey is full of curiosity, playfulness, and that lovable puppy optimism that makes every day feel like an adventure. He loves making new friends, exploring the world around him, and soaking up attention from anyone willing to offer a scratch behind the ears.

Like any young dog, Hockey is still learning all the important life skills that come with growing up, but he's eager, adaptable, and ready to continue that journey with a family of his own.

His first chapter didn't end the way anyone expected, but we're confident his best chapter is still waiting to be written.

Meet Gracie, a sweet hound dog with soulful eyes, a charming baying voice, and plenty of personality to share.

Gracie loves being with her people. Whether she's following her nose on a leisurely walk, joining you for an outdoor adventure, or curled up nearby for an afternoon nap, she's happiest when she's part of the action. She also has a soft spot for cozy beds, good scritches, and sharing her thoughts through classic hound commentary.

After returning to Nuzzles, we've learned that Gracie would thrive in a home where she can enjoy being the star of the show. She would do best as the only pet and is not a match for homes with chickens, small livestock, or other small animals. In return, you'll get a loyal companion who is ready to soak up all of the love, attention, and adventures you have to offer.

If you're looking for a devoted sidekick with a gentle heart, expressive eyes, and a whole lot of character, Gracie may be the perfect match.

Summer Sundays just aren't complete without Park Silly. ☀️🐾

We're excited to kick off another season at the Park Silly Sunday Market this weekend! For years, this has been one of our favorite ways to connect with the community, introduce people to rescue, and watch a few lucky dogs find their families right on Main Street.

Stop by our booth to say hello, learn about our programs, shop Nuzzles merchandise, and meet some adoptable dogs who are hoping their Sunday market stroll leads to a forever home.

On Memorial Day, we took in four puppies. One didn't waste any time finding a forever home. Now these three playful and adorable siblings are looking for theirs.

Originally rescued from the Uintah and Ouray Reservation, these 3.5-month-old mixed breed puppies have spent the last week in foster care learning all about the good life: cozy beds, belly rubs, toys, and plenty of love.

Each puppy is sweet, attentive, playful, and eager to be part of whatever you're doing. Whether they're chasing toys, exploring the backyard, or curling up after a busy day, these pups are ready to make themselves right at home.

Now all they need is a family to call their own.
