Another successful Recycle Utah Sustainability Festival in the books!

This year, Summit Land Conservancy challenged 5th graders to think like conservationists through our interactive game, Conservation Quest. Students raced against a developer to protect key properties in our watershed and conserve the lands that help keep our water clean.

Think Monopoly...but with the future of our community on the line!

Park City School District fifth graders connected in-class concepts with real-world issues at Recycle Utah’s annual sustainability festival.

We’re sad to hear that Top of Main Brew Pub is closing its doors. They’ve been an incredible partner over the past 11 years from brewing our Clothing Hoptional wild hops ale, to raising a glass with us at Hoppy Hour. 🍻

The good news? Hops Hunters is still on for this summer, and Hoppy Hour isn’t going anywhere. We’ll still be drinking great beer and saving land...just with a new brewery partner.

Stay tuned! We’ve got a fresh collaboration brewing.

Top of Main is being sold, and the bar and restaurant won't reopen after closing for the shoulder season.

CONSERVATION ALERT: The Eastern Summit County Planning Commission will hold a Work Session to review, discuss, and consider a proposed code amendment that could enable large-scale development in Brown's Canyon, on Thursday, May 7.

In 2025, Summit Land Conservancy placed a conservation easement on the 185-acre North Meadows portion of Ure Ranch, protecting Kamas Valley's agricultural heritage for the future.
