The 10 week Summer School ended with the Junior Open this past weekend. With a range of conditions from 5-12 knots. The race committee and all the volunteers did a fantastic job: 9 races completed, fun, pizza and awards! Big congratulations to all the competitors this weekend and the whole summer, you’ve all been working hard and we at Park City Sailing are excited to see what’s next for you! With fall sailing just around the corner, we have lots more opportunities coming up, reach out to get involved!

Still 2 more weeks of the 2026 sailing school to go. So far we have had some amazing sailing, countless hours on the water, lots of fun, firsts, learning and exploring! There's a new regatta in town, built for FUN, built for EVERYONE! Whether sailing or spectating, all are invited to join us for the first-ever Jordanelbow Regatta. Sailors of all kinds, and all seaworthy, registered sailboats are invited for a pursuitrace around the entire lake with us on August 1st. Spectators may follow and watch from other vessels, or from the shore where we will be having the party of the year as participants cross the finish line right in front of the Lake View Center. Campsites are available for those who want to spend the night. This event is not one to miss!

Inviting sailors and spectators from all over the land, for the most fun and most inclusive regatta and party event of the year. This is a pursuit race around the lake and a party, hosted by Park City Sailing Association, that is meant for everyone to participate.

It’s about that time in the summer where we start recycling adjectives to describe just how incredible weeknight racing is with PCSA.

But I don't think we’ve used "perfect" yet—and that is exactly what last Tuesday was. Absolute perfection.

If you haven’t been out on the water in a while, this is your sign to dust off the gear and get back out here. While the valley is baking, the evening breeze at the reservoir is hitting just right. There is no better way to cool down and escape the heat than a Tuesday night on a Laser.

🙌 Last week's Windward Grill kickoff was a hit! Thanks to everyone who came out and enjoyed the smoked bratwursts and pulled pork tacos. We loved seeing so many sailors stick around after racing, and we're doing it again tonight!

A massive thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s Summer Sailstice. We proved that the mountains are just as incredible on the water!

We had an absolutely incredible turnout at the reservoir, with packed docks, gorgeous weather, and a fleet of boats catching the mountain breeze. Whether you were a seasoned racer tracking the shifts or a newcomer getting your feet wet for the first time, your energy made it an unforgettable celebration of the longest days of the year.

Park City Sailing is growing every single season, and seeing our community come together like this shows just how deep our sailing roots run out here in Utah.

Thank you to our amazing volunteers, instructors, and every sailor who hoisted a sail with us. Let’s keep this momentum rolling all summer long!
