Welcome to October! 🐝 🍂 We are so excited to share another cozy month of fall events and community connection with you!

As the leaves change and the air gets crisp, there is no better time to gather, find your village, and celebrate the season together. Whether you’re looking for warm conversation over coffee, peace of mind for your growing family, or festive Halloween memories with your little ones, there is a place for you here.

Our community events this month feature our regular Friday morning MamaBee Coffees, along with a Weekend Edition designed especially for working parents to connect. For our Hive members, we have a helpful Infant CPR Class scheduled, plus plenty of spooky season magic—including a Toddler Halloween Party, a pumpkin patch playdate, and a spooky forest walk on Halloween day! 🎃🌲

Calling all toddler parents! 📣 Get ready for a whimsical, hands-on Beast Feast Cooking Class & Storytime next week at Hill’s Kitchen in Park City! 🍕🍫

Led by Chef Evan, our little ones will bring the beloved book The Beast Feast to life across interactive, sensory-rich food stations. From assembling mini pizzas to making chocolate “mud” pie, it’s the ultimate hands-on midweek reset for the whole family!

🗓️ When: Tuesday, September 29th | 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM
📍 Where: Hill’s Kitchen, Park City
🎟️ Cost: $20 per toddler (caregivers included!)

Bring your gently used baby, kids’, or maternity gear and take home what you need. It’s 100% free, sustainable, and the best way to refresh your setup while supporting fellow local moms!

The Details:
📍 Loomis Park (6450 Silver Creek Drive, Park City)
⏰ Sunday, October 4th | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
🚗 Tailgate style — pop your trunk, set up and share! Bring a table or blanket to place your items on.
☀️ Limited shade, so bring hats and sunscreen.
🤝 Giving Back: Any unclaimed gear left at the end of the swap will be donated to expecting and new mothers at the upcoming Motherhood Circle event on October 6th at the Christian Center of Park City, directly supporting families right here in our community CCPC

Paddles down! Hearts full! 🏓 👏 🐝 🤝

We are still buzzing with excitement after our first-annual Paddles for a Purpose Pickleball Fundraiser at Red Ledges! What started as an idea to bring our community together turned into an unforgettable day of sunshine, big smiles, and overwhelming community support.

Because of you, we officially raised close to $10,000 to support new parents and local families across the Wasatch Back. That’s nearly DOUBLE our original goal! 🎉

The event was a total smash hit success from start to finish, bringing together over 50 players and clinic participants across the courts, 18 generous local raffle partners and 8 event sponsors.

Every single dollar raised goes directly into Hive Family Collective’s impact-led programming and nonprofit work. At Hive, we are building the village every family needs to thrive in early parenthood.

We offer free peer connection through support groups, trusted educational through expert-led workshops, direct relief through community meals and essential postpartum resources, and inclusive belonging through virtual and in-person gatherings for new parents.
