And what an excellent leader Dolly Parton was.

In tribute to her father who never learned to read, Dolly founded her Imagination Library in 1995. The Imagination Library sends free books to families with children 0-5 years, increasing access to books regardless of family income and encouraging childhood literacy across the nation.

Her legacy will live on in Summit County where many families receive books from Imagination Library.

Dolly, thank you for strengthening the youngest within our community and beyond. May you always be remembered as a champion of education.

Did you know PC Tots has a High Quality award from Utah’s Childcare Quality System - a distinction only 1 in 9 centers has in Utah?

Yes, High Quality is more than a buzzword used to describe the program. Rather, the award is determined by CCQS as an ongoing commitment to continuous quality improvements. Programs must score well in five quality domains and gain an overall 120+ points in their annual evaluation to be awarded.

Every part of the PC Tots curriculum has purpose, including outdoor play.

Our tots have been making the most of the summer sun by spending lots of time outdoors! With tons of open space to frolic in, our tots love being outside - but did you know this time has a purpose beyond fun? Playing outdoors helps tots build gross motor skills, creates healthy bodies, and can strengthen vision long term. Besides physical growth, their brain development is supported in areas like sensory processing, focus, and creativity, along with social and emotional health.

Welcome to our classroom tour series! At PC Tots, each classroom is carefully curated with the classroom age and developmental needs in mind. Two weeks ago, our PC Tots supporters came together and did something magical: they raised over $151,000 for our Brighter Tomorrows Scholarship Fund.

These vital funds allow PC Tots to keep fulfilling our mission of providing accessible, high-quality early childhood education to our families regardless of financial barriers. We are so grateful for our incredible community that continues to show up for PC Tots and the families we serve.
