PC Tots teachers are all about leading by example.

In the infant room, this is especially important. From the day they are born, infants learn through active watching and imitating the environments around them. That’s why PC Tots teachers in the infant room show them exactly how to perform an activity, like cup stacking. Naturally curious, our tots start to pick up the pieces, play on their own terms, and imitate their teachers!

The PC Tots Brighter Tomorrows Scholarship Program provides monthly tuition scholarships to 80% of our students.

Entirely funded through philanthropy, PC Tots gives scholarships to needs based families depending on household income level. Thanks to the support of our generous donors and community, PC Tots is able to make high-quality, early childhood education accessible to the families living and working in Summit County.

Ever wonder what a day looks like for PC Tots students? Wonder no more!

Let’s take a look at a sample morning schedule in the life of a PC Tot. After drop-off, each day is started with some free play to get our students engaged and ready for the day ahead. Morning snack helps tots sustain energy needed for circle time, learning center activities, and outdoor play ahead! Depending on the day and season, sometimes these activities move around to best accommodate students and visiting partner programs.

PC Tots is incredibly grateful to have FCB Utah as a supporter for our organization. Our tots are absolutely loving the new coloring books and the diapering supplies are being put to good use. PC Tots is also incredibly fortunate to have been chosen as a 2026-2027 Charity Spotlight Organization. This program gives a free $25 Give Token to those opening a checking account at FCB Utah to donate to one of the Spotlight Charities.

Thank you to all the PC Tots families and friends that joined us for a successful Male Engagement Week!

Throughout last week, our teachers planned age appropriate activities to give family and friends an opportunity to engage with their tots in the classroom. Our families and friends then get to help tots practice essential skills in areas like literacy, creativity, and, most importantly, donut eating! Not only do these activities benefit our tots learning and development in the classroom — they lead to strengthened family and friend relationships at home too.

PC Tots families have been showing up all week for their tots during Male Engagement Week!

Our tots had the opportunity to show off their creativity and make art with their male family and friends. Our Pre-K students and family members spent some quality time together painting portraits of one another. After finishing, family members got to play with their tots in the classroom before heading home for the day.

At PC Tots, we value family engagement as part of our curriculum.

Male Engagement Week started off strong yesterday with a theme of Music & Movement! Our Library Preschool focused on movement, putting the tots’ and family members’ motor skills to the test with a three-legged race. Not only is it fun to have our male family and friends in the classroom — positive interactions with male role models leads to better outcomes in health, emotional regulation, and academics!

Thank you to Serve Park City for hosting a wonderful day of service, and to all our volunteers!

PC Tots is so grateful to the volunteers that showed up for our tots this past Saturday. Thanks to them, our tots showed up to clean and safe learning environments this morning. With this support, our teachers will have more time to spend on educational programming and bettering student outcomes this week.

PC Tots hit our fundraising goal for KPCW’s Summer Pledge Drive!

Executive Director Sue Banerjee was joined by Board Member Tony Tyler and Early Childhood Alliance Director Kristen Schulz to raise funds for KPCW radio station this morning. Throughout their hour on air, the three discussed the importance of accessible early childhood education, and the ways our community invests in childcare.

Thank you to KPCW and to everyone who helped us achieve our goal this morning! Your support in honor of PC Tots helps us gain free underwriting credits that help us spread the word about our organization.
