We partied like it's 1776. Today we ventured to Paris- Henry Co Hertiage Center, learned about the history of Paris and the founding of our county from Mr. David Jackson. We also made a toy from the era and more.

Our pack went camping this weekend. We've kayaked, swam, fished, ate smores, rode our bikes, and participated in a really cool educational session. This afternoon we're volunteering to clean up a trail and having more fun!

Scouting America Military Family Fee Waiver

Effective June 1, 2026, Scouting America is expanding access to Scouting for military-connected youth by waiving the $85 national youth registration fee for eligible families. This program applies to youth members only and is available for both new and renewing online registrations. The initiative is funded nationally through philanthropic efforts.

Eligible families include those with current service in the Active Duty, Reserve, or National Guard. The waiver covers only the national youth registration fee, reducing the $85 cost to $0 after the required verification and discount code process is completed. Local council fees, unit dues, optional add-ons such as Scout Life magazine, and processing fees may still apply.

To receive the waiver, families should select “Get Military Discount Code” during the online registration process, complete the verification steps, receive the verification code, and enter it at checkout. Once the code is applied, the national registration fee is reduced to $0.

Scouting America notes that the $85 fee may initially appear during checkout but will be removed after the verification code is entered. The waiver is available only for online registrations.

Today, Pack 222 had the honor of placing flags on the graves of veterans in remembrance of the brave men and women who gave so much for our freedom. 🇺🇸

Watching these Scouts carefully place each flag was a powerful reminder that Memorial Day is more than a long weekend, it’s about gratitude, sacrifice, and remembering those who served our country with courage.

We are proud to help teach our Scouts the importance of service, respect, and honoring our heroes. Thank you to all of the families and volunteers who came out to help today, and most importantly, thank you to the veterans and fallen service members who made our freedoms possible.

What an incredible evening celebrating our Scouts at the Pack Banquet tonight!

We are so proud of all of the accomplishments, growth, and memories made this year. From earning badges and awards to campouts, pinewood derbies, service projects, and adventures together, this group of Scouts continues to amaze us.

A special congratulations to our Arrow of Light Scouts as they officially crossed over into Scouts BSA and began their next chapter with Troop 22. Watching these Scouts grow into confident young leaders has been such an honor, and we cannot wait to see all they accomplish in the years ahead.

Thank you to our leaders, volunteers, parents, and families for the countless hours of support that make this program possible. Scouting truly takes a village, and tonight was a wonderful reminder of the amazing community we have built together.

Congratulations to all of our Scouts on a fantastic year! ⚜️💙
