Emily Walker, Pastor at Trinity United Methodist, spoke to our Club today about the Respite Ministry for Alzhemiers and Dementia caregivers. This program is designed to give rest to the caretakers while building connections and relationships with the patients with Alzhemiers/Dementia. This year will be the Ministry's 2nd anniversary. She educated the group on how the ministry formed and how Respite has evolved over 2 years.

Today's program was presented by Abby Hensley, Director of Development at Murray State University. She provided insight and a history on the Fred Gamlin scholarship. We were honored to have her speak today.

Today, our Club awarded, Hope Tusa, with the Fred J. Gamlin Scholarship in the amount of $1,000. Hope will be attending UT Martin in the Fall, majoring in Veterinary Science. Hope is the daughter of Brian and Subo Tusa.

Monday, Paris Henry County Chamber Director, Caleb Grissom, provided our Program. Caleb talked about the tourism, the Fun Run, TN River Jam, and the great impact of the visitors. He also highlighted all the new businesses coming to Paris.

Our weekly meeting was a busy one! Our club inducted Jessica Mathis and Judge Chad Cox, an award presented to Bill Anderson for Kiwanian of the Year' and then followed by a hands on presentation of a Stock index quiz by member Jamie Orr.
