We have finished our 3rd week of classes at CWJC Paris and have begun our 4th week. This is going by SO fast! Alyssa is a delightful young lady who is soaking up everything we give her the opportunity to learn!

Christian Women's Job Corps Paris serves mainly low-income women giving them the opportunity to learn job-readiness skills as well as daily-living skills. All classes are FREE to the participants, but it cost us to provide all curriculum, the rent of our space, the bottles of water for them, the pay of the staff, and the graduation certificates and gifts. We cannot continue to provide this opportunity without the faithful support of donors! This is such an important ministry to our community. There are about 40 sites all over Texas and about 150 sites all over the United States. There's even a new site in Mexico!

Christian Women's Job Corps Paris TX (CWJC) has moved to a new location at Immanuel Baptist Church, 1771 Bonham St. in Paris, TX. Our Spring Session in our new space will begin on Tuesday, March 17. Are you interested in learning what CWJC is all about, who we are, what we do, and possibly serving as a volunteer with us?

On Tuesday, March 10, 6:30-8:30 pm, we'll be hosting an information/training meeting for all who are interested. We'll also have the meeting again on Thursday, March 12, at 6:30-8:30 pm. By coming to either meeting you will not be making any commitment to be involved unless you want to!

We'll serve cookies & coffee both nights. Please let me know which night you plan to attend so I can have enough materials prepared. Reply to this message or text me at 903-706-0775.

On Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, CWJC Paris celebrated the graduation of Tiara Taylor who didn't miss a single day the entire 10 weeks of our Fall session! Congratulations Tiara!

We are halfway through the Fall Session already! Wow! It goes so fast ... every time! We are looking forward to what this second half will bring: craft class, cooking class, learning interview skills, mock interviews, etc., as well as Bible study, financial literacy, computer skills, and job skills.
