This morning at our final meeting of the 2025-2026 season we were able to meet and disperse 11 high school scholarships to Henry County High School graduates class of 2026. Their applications were impressive and the have bright futures ahead! The high school scholarships totaled $11,250 and were awarded to:
Travis Jenkins
Thomas Palmer
Hope Tusa
Finley Homesley
Sloane Russell
Emily Puckett
Carson Greene
Alex Wilson
Abby Smith
Logan Barnhart
Shaelyn Freeman
We have also dispersed 10 community grants to local organizations for a total of
$ 8,265. We are so thankful for the amazing work these organizations and volunteers do for our community. The recipients are Beyond the Horizon, Paris Academy for the Arts, CASA, Project Bridge, PLUS Endowment, The Levi Miles Foundation, Mary’s Kids, PSSD Family Enrichment, WG Rhea Public Library, Paris Henry County Heritage Center, and Tomorrow’s Hope.
Our giving reaches a grand total of $19,515. This would not be possible without the support of our local community of our events in 2025. Through your generosity of donations, attending our bake sale, and your support at the Run for the Roses Kentucky Derby Party and so much more we are able to give back to this wonderful community! We look forward to seeing everyone this Saturday at the Derby Party. We still have tickets available and will have them for sale at the door. All proceeds go back into our community through high school scholarships and community grants.
