Chisum FFA Chapter was established in 1988 in Paris, Texas. The school was a consolidation of Delmar and West Lamar Schools.

We are so proud of our 3 Chisum FFA members who competed at the Creed Speaking Contest at the Red River Valley Fair today!

Congratulations to Landry Shires on placing 2nd, Lyla Niblett on placing 3rd, and Ella Rushin.

This was our first contest of the year, and all three girls represented Chisum FFA so well! We are excited for what’s ahead!

Big Country’s Livestock Show Clinic & Nutritional Seminar is back!

Join us Saturday, November 7th at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds in Paris for a FREE morning focused on helping young exhibitors prepare for the show ring. We’ll cover showmanship, daily care, feeding and nutrition for cattle, hogs, lambs and goats. Animals are encouraged, but not required. Lunch, T-shirts and giveaways will be provided!

Due to maintenance issues at the high school, our FFA meeting originally scheduled for tomorrow Thursday, September 17th has been POSTPONED.

We will announce a new date and time as soon as it is determined. Stay tuned for the rescheduled date!

This year Lamar County Junior Livestock Show will be holding a physical steer validation in conjunction with the State Validation.
