Dolls for Dementia Dolls for Dementia is a nonprofit organization founded by Emily Richey that provides dolls for the elderly suffering from dementia.

Dolls for Dementia works to increase the opportunity of each dementia patient. Studies show that when elderly patients begin suffering from dementia, baby dolls and stuffed animals help comfort them. Once their memory begins to fade, dolls help them feel like they have something of their own to take care of. Dolls for Dementia is backed up by research that shows that patients receiving doll therapy show improvement in their behaviors.
