Update: What a blessing! The Shed has reached out to me and will be covering Christmas!

I am currently serving 10 children that would love to have someone show extra kindness during Christmas. If you have an extra toy or two, or even a sweet stuffed toy, please consider sharing. There are five families, so that means sibling groups. If you are interested, let me know.

Look what we have! Annex employees have made this old bookcase into a community treasure. After recently losing our sweet Molly Gallimore, we decided to build a small food pantry in her memory. While only available Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30 pm, you can find it on the 2nd floor of the courthouse ANNEX building!

We teamed with Juvenile Probation for a community Trunk or Treat for the kiddos at Rhea Elementary!

🏀 Paris–Henry County Youth Basketball League sign-ups are officially OPEN for kids ages 5–17! 📅 The season runs December–February and the deadline to register is October 24. No late registrations will be accepted.

Fees:
Ages 5–14: $30 first child | $25 second | $20 third (includes a T-shirt)
Ages 15–17: $40 first child | $35 second | $30 third (includes a T-shirt)

Co-Ed Player Evaluations for ages 9 and above will be held at Atkins Porter Gym on October 23rd and 24th at the following times:
• Ages 9–11 → 5:00 p.m.
• Ages 12–14 → 5:45 p.m.
• Ages 15–17 → 6:30 p.m.

Community support is vital to our program!

A few weeks ago, our Rutherford Co. Safe Baby Coordinator asked this community for diapers for the children in our programs, and the Republican Women of Rutherford County group responded in a huge way! They donated 1,919 diapers, 42 packages of wipes, baby items, and women's hygiene items!! We are forever grateful for amazing members of this community that support families alongside our work to reunite children with their families!💚💙

Thanks to our sweet friend, Elata. She donated these crazy cute toys. One sweet little girl took 2 home with her last week. The smallest of things becomes the biggest of blessings!
