Congrats gentlemen

Congratulations to Fire Inspectors Mike Canfora and Pat Eddy, this years recipients of the V.F.W FF of the year award!

Mike and Pat have excelled in their duties of inspections, public education, and arson investigation despite being short staffed as well as with changing leadership in our Fire Prevention Bureau.

Mike and Pat are often the forward-facing department members in non-emergent settings. They frequently teach in our local schools, ensure businesses and restaurants are safe and up to code, and investigate the causes of fires in our city.

Mike and Pat, thank you for representing the City of Massillon and Local #251 with pride and dignity, and congratulations on a well deserved recognition!
