Halloween is coming to downtown Paris!

Paris First Assembly is coordinating this year’s downtown Halloween event, and we’re excited to help share the information and support their efforts to make it a fun night for our community.

Our local emergency service personnel will be helping pass out candy during the event. If you’d like to help stock them up, we would be happy to collect your candy donations at the Main Street Paris office at 301 West Walnut.

Another local investment making a big impact downtown!

22 Brew recently added a new illuminated sign to their storefront, paid for in part through a Main Street Paris mini grant, and we are loving how it looks!

Through our partnership with Main Street Arkansas, Main Street Paris is able to offer mini grants to businesses within our historic downtown district. These grants help offset a portion of the costs of maintaining and improving a business in a historic building.

We are so grateful for business owners like 22 Brew who continue to invest in their properties and in the future of downtown Paris. Every improvement adds up, and together, they’re helping make our downtown a more vibrant place to live, work and visit.

Being part of the Main Street Paris organization isn’t like your average board. -- This is your chance to make a real, visible difference in the place you call home.

Our board members don’t just sit around a table and talk about what downtown could be. This isn't a board where you make your vote and then just go home until the next meeting. They roll up their sleeves, volunteer at events, help bring projects to life, support our local businesses and work together to make historic downtown Paris a place our community can be proud of.

Every January, three of our board members complete their terms and three new volunteers join the board. We’re currently looking for people who care about Paris and want to be part of what’s happening next.

You don’t need to have any special qualifications. You just need to care about our community and be willing to show up and help make a difference.

We are just about ready for our Lunch and Learn event regarding Issue 3 with Paris Arkansas Chamber of Commerce! We have guest speaker Randy Zook from the Arkansas State Chamber here to give a presentation and answer your questions so you can decide with clarity how you want to vote at the polls next month. We will see you at noon at the Union Bank - Paris, AR community center on Main Street right off the square.

You never know what you’re going to see at Adams’ Plumbing and really that’s part of the fun.

They’ve been adding whimsical touches to their building and work yard for several weeks now and it seems like we notice something new or different every time we go by!

Our current favorite? The plumbing wrench on the blade sign holder. 😂 Little details like this are a big part of what makes downtown so fun.
