Its time for our biannual Downtown cleanup again! Our fall Downtown Dust Off is happening Saturday, September 19 from 8a–12p and there’s a project for just about everyone!

We’ll have projects for all kinds of skill and ability levels including painting, gardening, trash cleanup, power washing, and more! We’re always adding projects to the to-do list.

Have a quick-action project downtown that you think should be added? Comment below or send us a message, and we’ll see if we can get it done!

This building is not only in an incredibly desirable spot but it is eligible for mini grants from Main Street Paris as well as tax credit incentives through the Historic Tax Credit program- improvements on the building may be eligible for up to 40% AR State Tax Credit and 20% Federal Tax Credit.

Another beautiful day to be downtown. ❤️

Every time we pass Union Bank Park we are so thankful to Gary Forst and Linda Mitchell for designing AND actually planting all the new landscaping. It has really pulled the park together. If you happen to see either of them, be sure to tell them what a great job they did!

Help us make Downtown Paris work better for everyone!

We’re hosting 5 AARP Walk Audits this September, and we want your input. We’ll walk downtown together and identify areas that could be improved for safety, mobility, and accessibility.

Choose a time that works for you:
• Sept. 15 — 8:30 AM
• Sept. 17 — 6:00 PM
• Sept. 19 — 8:00 AM + Downtown Dust Off
• Sept. 22 — 6:00 PM
• Sept. 23 — 8:30 AM

FAQ:
"How long should I expect this to take?"
Each walk audit should take about an hour to complete.

"Who can participate?"
All ages and stages are welcome! We need a wide range of perspectives to make sure that we cover all the potential hurdles.

"Do I get anything for coming?"
Everyone who participates gets a swag gift bag! We will also have water and snacks available!

"Does this count for volunteer hours for school?"
Sure does! We will happily sign off on your paperwork.

Did you know that our current courthouse was not the first on the square?

This courthouse was built in 1880 and started under going additions and full renovations to become the "new" courthouse in 1908.

We still can’t get over what a great time the Back to School Splash was this year. ❤️🚨💦 It was the perfect way to cool down and enjoy that small town life.

Thank you again to everyone who brought their trucks out for the kids to see up close as well as the CityofParis Arkansas Fire Department for turning on the hydrants for us and Walmart Paris - E Walnut St for sponsoring the event.

We are so grateful for such a supportive and active community to help make this a night that these kids won’t forget. 🥰
