Today we celebrate the retirement of one of our founding members Captain Terry Bull, who has been a member of the Paris Police Officers Association since 1989. He was presented an engraved knife and card by members of the association for his dedicated service.

The Paris Police Officers Association (PPOA) provided a $500.00 scholarship to graduating seniors of our own PPOA members. Congratulations to each of these seniors, we are proud of each one of you and we wish you the very best in your future.

Members of the PPOA along with other first responders in Lamar County participated in a basketball game against Excel Christian academy to help raise money for this school to build a gym for the students. We were able to raise $3,700 for these kids. A

LCSO Deputy Glen Briggle was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash earlier this month. He, his wife (a teacher at North Lamar), and their family need our support as they face this difficult time.

Deputy Briggle’s fellow officers are holding a fundraiser to help the Briggle family with expenses. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to them.
