Children’s Aid in the community snapshot— Chance Makers 2026 Leadership Forum!

The Chance Makers 2026 Leadership Forum, hosted by the organization “ Give Chances ,” brought together more than 350 students, families, and community members to spotlight youth leadership and mental health. NJ4S Bergen Hub presented on Positive Actions, highlighting how creativity can be used to build positive behavioral habits that strengthen student wellness. Youth leaders and community partners made this event a truly meaningful space for collaboration and growth.

Celebrating mom‑to‑be Jasmine with a sweet baby shower hosted by the Woodlea Advisory Council.

Jasmine is a participant in our Mobility Mentoring program that supports young adults who have aged out of foster care as they work toward self-sufficiency and their life goals. She was overwhelmed by the beautiful event held to welcome her baby boy.

Thank you to the Woodlea Advisory Council for showering Jasmine with community support and to our donors whose generosity makes the Mobility Mentoring program possible. Congratulations, Jasmine!

On a roll with our sandwich-making skills!

STRIVE members practiced making their own lunches for a picnic outside. Hands-on skills like meal prep help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities build confidence in the kitchen and a sense of ownership in daily life. Who knew learning could be so delicious!
