The Friends of the Bergen County Zoo is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing financial support to the Bergen County Zoological Park for the welfare of its animals, educational programs and family-friendly facilities. It is the generous support of our sponsors, donors, members and zoo visitors that allow us to meet this mission. The Friends offers Zoo Memberships that

provide special benefits for its members, including free admission to the zoo and discounted or free admission to reciprocal zoos across the country. Additionally, Zoo Membership entitles members to special member only events and the ability to purchase tickets in advance of the general public to highly anticipated events such as Zoo Boo. The Friends of the Zoo is honored to partner with Bergen County to support this beautiful zoo for the educational and recreational enjoyment of the citizens and visitors of Bergen County. The Friends thank the Docents for their volunteer service that makes the Bergen County Zoo such a wonderful place to visit.

Eggstravaganza tickets go on sale TOMORROW, March 10th at 9am on Eventbrite! Visit the link in our bio OR find the link on www.friendsofbergencountyzoo.org!

Stroll through the zoo and collect eggs at stations along the way, then hop over to meet the Easter Bunny for fun photo opportunities! Guests can also enjoy the train ride and carousel during the event (available for an additional cost). Be sure to bring your own basket for collecting eggs! At the end of the event, return your eggs and receive a FREE train or carousel ticket to use on a future visit.

This event is organized by hourly time slots, and everyone ages 2 and up must have a ticket to attend. Advance registration is required, and tickets are non-refundable.

The Friends of the Bergen County Zoo has been selected as a nonprofit partner in the Stop & Shop Community Bag Program!

During the month of March 2026, every time you purchase a $2.50 reusable Community Bag at our designated Stop & Shop location (20 Washington Avenue, Dumont, NJ), $1 will be donated back to us to further support the conservation efforts of the Bergen County Zoo!
