Relay For Life of Paramus is an award-winning community FUNdraiser for the American Cancer Society, uniting us to celebrate survivors, remember loved ones, and fight cancer together. Relay For Life is a community FUNdraiser for the American Cancer Society during which participants form teams, relaying the responsibility of having at least one team member walking around the track at all times throughout the event. All participants celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against cancer during motivating and emotional ceremonies and activities. We’re incredibly grateful to Crane Aerospace & Electronics for supporting both the American Cancer Society and Relay For Life of Paramus through a generous donation from the Crane Fund for Widows & Children!

This donation was made possible by Stathis L., one of our Relay participants, who is also a Crane employee and nominated our event as a recipient. It’s a great example of how bringing Relay into your workplace can make an even bigger impact!

Crane Aerospace & Electronics develops critical technologies for the aerospace, defense, and space industries. Giving back is an important part of the company’s culture. In 2025, Crane's charitable programs distributed about $5.6 million to more than 1,000 charitable organizations and educational institutions worldwide.

David and Halle were honored to join Stathis and attend a recent reception at Crane's headquarters in New Jersey celebrating the many organizations receiving donations.

September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. While it remains one of the most common cancers in men, the outlook has never been more hopeful. Advances in screening, early diagnosis, and treatment have significantly increased survival rates. In fact, the American Cancer Society reports that more than 3.5 million men diagnosed with prostate cancer are alive today in the U.S. This September, let’s raise awareness and encourage early detection.
