The library is so much more than just books. 📚✨

A visit to the library in Paragould opens the door to movies, music, learning, and community connections for all ages. Browse DVDs featuring newer movies, television series, and classic favorites. Check out music CDs from every genre, audiobooks for listening on the go, magazines, newspapers, and enjoy free high-speed internet access. Need help with a resume or job search? The library offers that too.

There is even a Seed Library for gardening enthusiasts, a Historical Room for local research and genealogy, and events happening year-round for children, teens, and adults.
And with the Kids Summer Reading Program starting in June, there has never been a better time to explore everything the library has to offer. Rainy day, sunny afternoon, or anywhere in between, the library is one of Paragould’s best places to learn, discover, and connect.

Enjoy a relaxing morning outdoors with friends, fresh air, and fellowship while taking a stroll along the beautiful 8 Mile Creek Trail. This free event is a great opportunity for seniors to stay active, connect with others, and move toward a healthier lifestyle together.

Every day, local nonprofits, schools, churches, community groups, and volunteers work tirelessly to make our community stronger, kinder, and more connected. Being able to support their missions and help them continue serving others is what our work is all about.

Every scholarship awarded, every nonprofit supported, and every project completed is possible because of the generosity and heart of this community.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage, service, and dedication gave us the freedoms we enjoy every day.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, let us also take a moment to reflect with gratitude on those who gave everything in service to others.

From all of us at the Greene County Community Fund, we thank our fallen heroes and their families for their sacrifice. May we continue building a community that honors their legacy through kindness, service, and support for one another.
