Our Programs
-All of the Henry Wrinkles Foundation programs fall into 4 categories known as the 4 Legs of Henry
Animal Assisted Learning and Therapy
Henry Wrinkles foundation believes that the bond between an animal and a human is beyond understanding and replication. We use that connection to facilitate successful change and learning in our programs. Ride on is a series of riding lessons that
can be provided to clients in a private session or with a group. The lessons progress through a curriculum that can be personalized to each rider so that each individual fulfills their riding goals.
*Therapeutic Riding is a type of riding that allows those with physical or developmental disabilities to overcome personal challenges with the help of a horse. Wilderness Training is a fun activity for groups and individuals that explores everything from plant identification to first aid. Successful Living is a program uses Napoleon Hill’s Keys to Success, paired with training in practical knowledge, to provide a foundation for important life skills. This course allows participants to graduate with a firm grasp of personal values as well as participate in tasks that are essential to independence and maturity. Therapy Partnerships are something that Henry Wrinkles Foundation values as a way to provide a traditional service with a non traditional approach. Our foundation does not employ therapists but instead partners with therapy companies in order to provide a unique clinical site. Unlimited Possibilities
Beyond animal lives, Henry Wrinkles Foundation believes that all lives are sacred, including the lives of our children. We maintain foster homes that serve to keep families together. Rather than accepting one gender, we take on whole sibling units. Once we take on a family, they have our full commitment until they finish their education as it is important to us that our children always have a place to call home. Spay, Neuter, Adopt Pets
The Henry Wrinkles Foundation encourages the concept of saving animals before creating new animal lives. One way we accomplish this goal is our mobile sterilization unit. Our second route to saving animals is our Adoption Boot-camp. The Mobile unit has allowed Henry Wrinkles Foundation to service the Northeast Arkansas area with convenience and ease. In simplest form, the mobile unit is a traveling surgical station. Go Dogs Go Rally is a way to raise public awareness of the need for sterilization in the community. Our animals’ unique talents often promote excitement for the program. Adoption Boot-camp is the training regimen that our foster dogs go through to get ready for adoption. Many of our dogs are older and not as readily adopted. Adoption Boot-camp allows them to become more desirable and well behaved. Henry and Friends Literacy Program
The Henry and Friends Literacy Program is a collection of books and short stories written from the point of view of our animals. They share stories about what happens on the farm with the goal of teaching moral lessons and encouraging a love for reading and animals.
