Welcome to the informative news page for Arkansas Legalization. Our goal at this time is to see a full legalization initiative put into effect in the state. There a several ways we will be working to do this, and encourage everyone to help spread awareness to this page. I have been directly associated with various groups petitioning legalization initiatives in the state. However at this time were

only hoping to pool an effort to make sure cannabis is legalized soon. I would be interested in helping organize a group of canvassers for popular initiatives, if we have volunteers to do so. In addition we share the latest in cannabis news in the state educate voters to the current initiatives as we discuss them. Essentially we would like to see a full legalization initiative deployed to end prohibition on cannabis here in Arkansas. The state has much to gain from the environmental, economical, and medical benefits from the plant. With a medical only initiative the voids most of the economical benefits, and majorly cuts down on the environmental benefits. The word recreational is a bad choice of words as it insinuates that it only benefits those who choose to smoke.
