These babies are running us ragged ya’ll. This little one is the runt of her litter… of course, it’s always the runt. She was originally keeping up with her larger siblings…. Until she wasn’t. I noticed her declining on Friday, not eating as much and not playing with her litter mates. She had some drainage from her nose and mouth….. so here we went with antibiotics, b12, supplements, syringe feedings and eye meds. She’s been progressively getting more lethargic all weekend. So I threw my hands in the air and called the vet this morning. She’s now dropped off at Linwood Animal Hospital, fingers crossed they can help us turn this precious girl around. She needs some prayer and good vibes! If you can donate you know where she is, they accept donations to our bill, or as always our links are below. We couldn’t do this without you guys.

We posted a reel the other day of a video of some of my bottle babies playing in a play pen. It was just a cute video. I didn’t expect the amount of people that would be messaging wanting to pick one out for adoption. I disappointed a lot of people…. Our babies are not available for adoption until they are spayed and neutered. That usually happens around 4 months old. We use to allow babies to leave us at 9 weeks old and come back at a later date to be spayed and neutered. Too many adopters ruined that for everyone else. We had a large number of folks who would ghost us and not return our calls. Some argued later that they didn’t agree with the age we had them fixed and refused to bring them back. Then, we had those that messaged us when the cat went into heat and then they was impatient to get them done because the cat was driving them crazy. Too many bad experiences made us knuckle down on our protocols.
We realize that most everyone wants to experience these adorable moments so we do have one other option…. Foster. You can foster a litter of kittens. Our foster parents are allowed “dibs” on adopting any of their fosters.
Do you still have to sign a contract to adopt? Yes
Do you still have to pay an adoption fee? Yes
We hold everyone accountable with the same contract and we still have to pay for supplies and medical bills.
We make fostering as easy as possible though. We provide, food, formula, wipes, potty pads, play pens, kennels, bowls, bottles, bedding and even toys. Some of our fosters do opt to provide their own preferred brands over what we have in stock and that’s ok too. You can choose to foster a litter that is already weaned onto hard food if your schedule doesn’t allow for bottle feeding.
We currently have 3 litters I am personally bottle feeding 😮‍💨. Then we have 1 litter that is on hard food and water that we are still just giving formula in a bowl a few times a day for transitioning. We also have 3 litters that are weaned off completely to hard food and water. If you are interested in fostering please message us. If you can donate to their supplies…. We go through about 30 potty pads, 1.5 cans of formula and about a quarter of a pack of wipes a day! We use dish soap to wash all of our supplies, bleach soak for safety measure and hand wash/ sanitizer between litters. Items can be donated to Something Pawsitive or we can arrange to meet you. 😻

I feel like no matter what we do these two dogs keep getting the short end of the stick. They were both abandoned dogs that had already seen how cruel the world could be. They’ve both been to several homes and still haven’t found their forever family. Now, both foster homes are having their worlds turned upside down and need someone else to take these babies.
Junior’s foster has had to move family in with them along with the extended families pets. There’s an elderly gentleman that Junior, in his happy go lucky way, will likely knock over. They can not risk a broken bone.
Rosie’s foster family has to have extensive home repairs and will be misplaced for a period. They can not take Rosie with them to their temporary home.

These babies are potty trained and crate trained. They are both good with other dogs, cats and kids. They are both spayed and neutered.
Junior is goofy and clumsy. He’s all legs and smiles all the time.
Rosie just wants to cuddle with someone 24/7 or at least steal your blankets.
We desperately need to find them a foster or a permanent home. We have 10 days. What happens after that? I don’t know. I have no answers, at least not good ones. If you can’t adopt or foster, please for the love of these dogs SHARE! Share it as much and as often as you can. Somewhere out there is their forever family.

9 more cats spayed and neutered today!!! Big thank you to the Spillman’s for their donation so today could happen. We have been averaging 5 every other week. Today’s trip was to Yellville so we are still currently on the road 😬

(Before anyone starts counting kennels and sees the kennel that’s on its side, that’s our spare we take on each trip, it’s empty. The 9th cat is behind that back seat…..)

Hey guys….. I’ve been getting the stink eye from these little guys…..
We currently have 30 kittens under the age of 16 weeks old. We’ve unfortunately cycled out all of our little cat towers that fit in their enclosures. What we had was either so worn that pieces was coming off or had to be thrown away due to possible ringworm exposure. So…. These babies need toys, scratching posts and small towers. If you have one you are not using that’s in good condition we are happy to accept used items. If you would like to send items via our Amazon wish list I will have the link below.
