We heard the news of the passing of Sandra Pruitt last night. You may remember her from her many visits with her husband Robert when the couple would feed the entire campus. As you can see in these photos where she’s spooning out food, she was a true servant. Whatever needed to be done, she would gladly do. She and her husband were also generous supporters of CHI. We’re so grateful for our time with Sandra and all she has done for us. Join us in praying for her family and friends at this time of loss.

Bailey and Dailey are representing Children’s Homes at the PEP Leadership Conference today! We’re grateful for the opportunity to connect with other leaders, learn, and continue growing.

Today, Bailey and Chelsea had the privilege of providing lunch for the Craighead County DCFS staff! It’s just a small way for us to say thank you for the incredible work you do each and every day. We are honored to support the people who work tirelessly to support children and families impacted by foster care.

Today, we celebrate the incredible Ms. Betty and the love she continues to pour into the children at Children’s Homes! We are so thankful that she is spending her 93rd birthday still teaching at the Balcom Learning Center. What a beautiful example of dedication, love, and service!

Happy Birthday, Ms. Betty! We are so blessed to have you as part of the Children’s Homes family!

Today, we celebrate something truly extraordinary—20 years of the Schandevel family saying "YES" to children in need. For two decades, they have opened not only their home but also their hearts, providing love, stability, and hope to children when they needed it most. Thank you, Paul and Bev, for 20 amazing years of serving children and families through foster care!
