The beautiful thing about knowing Jesus is realizing two things can be true at the same time… 🤍

You can walk through the valley and still have joy.
You can have tears in your eyes and still worship.
You can feel overwhelmed and still trust Him.
You can have questions and still have faith.

Because peace was never promised to come from perfect circumstances…
peace comes from knowing Who is walking through them with you.

Even when life feels heavy, He is still good.
Even when prayers aren’t answered the way we imagined, He is still faithful.
Even when we don’t understand the season, He is still in control.

“The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.” — Job 1:21

That’s what it means to say…
“It is well with my soul.” 💜🙏🏻

Make it a habit to talk more about your blessings than your burdens. 🤍

Because what you focus on… grows.

It’s so easy to replay everything that’s wrong.
Everything that’s missing.
Everything you’re still waiting for.

But don’t forget to look around at everything God has already done.

The prayers you’re living in right now.
The moments you begged for that became normal.
The things you once cried about that He carried you through.

Gratitude doesn’t mean life is perfect.
It means even in the hard seasons we choose to say…

“God, I still see Your goodness here.”

Shift your focus.
Count the blessings.
Notice the little things.

Because sometimes the miracle we’re asking God for…
is standing in the middle of the blessings we forgot to thank Him for. 🙏🏻💛

“Omg you’re a Christian so you’re just so holy now.”

No… I’m a Christian because I realized how much I’m not.

I don’t follow Jesus because I think I’m better than anyone.
I follow Jesus because I know how lost I was without Him.

I still mess up.
I still struggle.
I still have moments where I fall short.

The difference is… I don’t run from God in those moments anymore.
I run to Him.

Jesus didn’t come for people who had it all together.
He came for the broken, the hurting, the sinners, the ones who knew they needed a Savior.

Being a Christian isn’t me saying “look how good I am.”

It’s me saying…

“Look how good God is that He loved me anyway.” 🙏🏻💛

One of the enemy’s greatest lies is convincing you that you are too broken to be healed.

That you’ve messed up too much.
That your past is too heavy.
That the things you’ve walked through will define you forever.

He will replay every mistake.
Every failure.
Every moment you wish you could change…
because if he can keep you focused on who you were, he can distract you from who God is making you become.

But Jesus doesn’t look at your broken pieces and walk away.
He steps into the mess.
He restores what you thought was ruined.
He heals places you thought would always hurt.
He redeems stories you thought were over.

Your past may explain where you’ve been,
but it does not get to decide where God is taking you. 💜

Keep showing up.
Keep surrendering.
Keep trusting Him with the parts of you no one else sees.

God is still working.
And He’s not finished with you yet. 🙏🏻❤️

Our speaker this week is Brandon Glazier. He fought with his addiction for a long 27 years and is now just days away from being 1 year clean. God has also blessed him with the opportunity of entering Greene County Drug Court. It’s gonna be a great night with a testimony of hope for anyone out there struggling. We start with a meal at 6.

I hope you believe in what God placed inside of you so deeply that other people don’t understand it.

Because the dreams He gave you weren’t random.
That passion you can’t shake…
that vision you keep coming back to…
that fire in your heart that won’t go away…
God put it there for a reason.

People might call it unrealistic.
They might not understand why you keep going.
They might question what God is asking you to step into because they can’t see what He’s showing you.

But remember… Noah looked crazy building an ark until the rain came.
David looked unqualified until he stood in front of Goliath.
The world sees what is in front of them… but God sees what He created you for.

So stop shrinking what God gave you just because someone else doesn’t understand it.

Pray over it.
Work for it.
Be faithful with it.
Keep showing up even when nobody claps.

Because when God plants something in your heart, He will make a way for it to grow.

That fire isn’t there by accident.
God didn’t place it inside of you for nothing. 🙏🏻❤️

Science says there are a few things we need to survive…

Water.
Air.
Food.
Light.

And isn’t it amazing that Jesus already told us He is all of those things?

“I am the living water.”
“I am the breath of life”
“I am the bread of life.”
“I am the light of the world.”

And God breathed life into us from the very beginning.

The world has always searched for what keeps us alive…
but the answer has always pointed back to Him.
Because we weren’t created to survive on earthly things alone.

Our souls need Him.
Our hearts need Him.
Our homes need Him.

The emptiness we try to fill…
the peace we’re searching for…
the strength we’re begging for…

it’s found in Jesus.
Science showed us what the body needs to live.
God showed us what the soul needs for eternity. 🙏🏻❤️

Someone once told me…
“Take God everywhere you go. And if you can’t take God with you… don’t go.”

And I haven’t stopped thinking about that.
Not because following Jesus means you’ll never mess up.
Not because you have to be perfect.

But because every room you walk into…
every conversation you have…
every choice you make…

He should still be welcome there.

If I have to leave my faith at the door to fit in,
it’s not a door I was meant to walk through.

Take Him into your home.
Your friendships.
Your marriage.
Your parenting.
Your struggles.
Your everyday ordinary moments.

Don’t just make room for God on Sundays.
Take Him everywhere. 🙏🏻❤️

Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is stop punishing yourself for being human.

You are allowed to need rest.

You are allowed to need reassurance.

You are allowed to cry.

You are allowed to say, “God, I trust You, but this still hurts.”

Faith does not mean you become numb.

It does not mean you stop feeling.

It does not mean you never have anxious thoughts or hard days again.

Faith means you know where to take those things when they show up.

And I think God is much gentler with us than we are with ourselves.

He is not sitting there disappointed because you needed comfort again.

He is not annoyed because healing is taking time.

He is not keeping score of every moment you felt weak.

He is a Father.

And a good Father does not shame His child for needing Him 🙏🏻❤️
