The Wild Blueberry Festival Steering Committee and Paradise area community loves and appreciates all the volunteers that contribute to the success of this celebration that includes an art fair, entertainment, and wonderful local foods. Our decorators are essential in capturing the spirit of the festival showcasing informative programs of music, nature, and local history lore. If you have an interest in assisting with decorations give us a shout out or message us. Specific plans and calls will go out in May and June but we don't want to miss you! Each year during the third weekend in August we celebrate a part of our local heritage, wild blueberries. Established in 1984, the Wild Blueberry Festival showcases informative programs of music, nature, and local history lore.

Here is one more volunteer we want to recognize. It isn't always easy work at the Wild Blueberry Festival! Paradise Area Night Riders www.paradiseareanightriders.org set up a burger & brat tent to support their efforts in maintaining the snowmobile trails. All volunteers! The souvenir tent, the dunk tent, fish bowl booth and Paradise Area Community Foundation corn tent were all set up, operated, and worked by volunteers! Here is a special shout out to all those volunteers with the Wild Blueberry Festival Bake Sale -- pie builders, pie bakers, pie servers! We also want to include the muffin and buckle bakers! UMMMM Good!

Pie building for the Blueberry festival is Monday July 22 at 8:00 at the Community Building. All are welcome. No experience need. Lunch is provided. Come and support your community event.
