It's hard to look at this bench full of little faces from Kindergarten Ready Camp and not wonder who they'll become.

A teacher. A nurse. A business owner. A parent. A mentor. A leader.

Last week at Kindergarten Ready Camp, an Early Learning collaboration with PVSD, these children practiced the skills they'll need for their first day of school and gained confidence for the journey ahead.

Why does this matter?

Research shows that children who enter school unprepared are more likely to struggle with reading by third grade, and third-grade reading proficiency is one of the strongest predictors of high school graduation.

Investing in children during these early years has a ripple effect throughout an entire community. The foundations built today can shape opportunities for years to come.

Meet Ray!

After retiring, Ray started the New Holland Mennonite Garden, which now provides fresh produce to The Factory Market twice each month!

Fresh produce is one of the things that makes The Factory Market shine. Thanks to generous gardeners, retailers, farmers, and neighbors, we've seen a significant increase in produce donations over the past two years—especially during the summer months.

In May alone, produce was our largest donation category at 3,228 pounds. Along with nearly 2,000 pounds of donated meat, these gifts help families create healthy, nutritious, and well-rounded meals.

How cool is that?! Pretty cool.

We're grateful for partners like Ray who are helping make fresh food accessible to everyone in our community.
