🇺🇸 Veteran of the Month – February 2026 🇺🇸

For February, we are pleased to recognize our very own Chuck Louis as Veteran of the Month! Chuck was nominated by fellow veteran and Quilt Guild member, Sandy Parsons. Both Chuck and Sandy are valued members of our Quilt Guild.

Chuck served in the U.S. Army during the Cold War from 1954–1956. He was stationed at a Nike Missile Base, where he assembled missiles that were part of our nation’s anti-aircraft defense system.

We are proud to honor Chuck for his service and grateful to have him as part of our quilting family. 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 Veteran of the Month – January 2026 🇺🇸

Our Veteran of the Month for January 2026 is James Daley. Mr. Daley served 20 years in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean and Vietnam Wars, serving in the infantry and as a helicopter crew chief.

A resident of Magalia, Mr. Daley was very honored to be selected. We were proud to present him with a handmade quilt at our guild meeting in appreciation of his service.

Thank you for your service, Mr. Daley. ❤️🤍💙
