Paradise Project Show Poll β We Need Your Input!
The Paradise Project Show is scheduled for January 4th, giving our students a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable ring-time experience with their animal projects, showcase their hard work, and support one another as a community.
This year, we're considering a change to the traditional jackpot format (where species are shown by weight) to a showmanship-only format. In this setup:
Students would compete based on experience level rather than animal weight and breed.
This may result in younger and older students showing together but ensures the focus remains on showmanship for each specific species.
It could address challenges like low participant numbers in some species, multiple students with single entries, or multiple head of animals in one class from the same exhibitor.
It would make the day shorter and potentially allow everyone to attend 4-H Open Barn Days as well.
We want to hear from youβstudents, parents, and supporters! Your input is crucial as we strive to create the best experience for everyone involved.
What are your thoughts? Would you prefer:
Traditional Jackpot Format (show by breed and weight).
Showmanship-Only Format (show by experience level group and species).
Please visit the βattached form and submit your choice by DECEMBER 21st
