Hi everyone,

We've recently been contacted by some folks from the Cohasset and Forest Ranch community associations.

They're in need of food waste collection for homes that were evacuated and lost power during the Park Fire.

I'd love to collect this material for composting, to give back to these communities as they enter their recovery period.

We're in need of volunteers to staff collection sites in these communities, to guide people in depackaging and prevent contamination. If you're interested, please respond "yes", and I'll create a separate thread to organize!

Hi friends! Apologies for the lack of activity here. We're Paradise Community Compost, an ongoing program of Camp Fire Restoration Project. We have several composting sites around our ridge communities, and welcome community members to come learn about soil health, organics recycling, soil and compost ecology, and bioremediation. Keep an eye out for upcoming activities at a site near you!!
