The Lions Gate - non-profit The Lions Gate is a community service initiative currently pursuing formal nonprofit status.

We meet every second Sunday at 2 PM to volunteer locally for one hour, followed by 1 hour of screen-free connection to build stronger communities and connections.

CLOSING…TRANSITIONING: all, please read: I started this for a couple reasons, but predominantly to create a simple and repeatable trend that anyone could follow in any city. But, after consulting with an attorney, trademark is too much of a concern. So, to keep the idea going, but under a different name, we will be putting this ongoing monthly service and sport trend under the STRIPLING (aka STRIPLING.LIFE) brand which is a for-profit business that currently does apparel, music, and events that make people and groups stronger in mind, body and soul…pursuing a worldwide impact by 2075. The Lions Gate is a community service initiative currently in the process of formal nonprofit organization.

Our purpose is to bring individuals and families together to support local community needs through hands-on volunteer work while encouraging meaningful, in-person connection in an increasingly screen-driven world.

Participants meet every second Sunday at 2 PM to volunteer one hour of their time assisting with local service efforts such as yard clean-ups, small business support, or helping neighbors in need. Following each service hour, attendees are invited to stay for an additional hour of screen-free conversation and community connection.

As The Lions Gate continues through the nonprofit formation process, future goals to support personal growth and strengthen local relationships include digital media productions and in person group training opportunities.

I’ve been to Tijuana, I’ve adopted from Haiti, and for those of you Americans that live in a personal bubble, we are incredibly blessed! One of the big ways that gets overlooked is through our landfills. Don’t take it for granted!  Today, The Lions Gate is grateful for the Garfield County landfill!

🔥👊⏰TODAY is this months activity:
2-3pm: SERVICE: finish loading local trash from behind Rocky Mountain Combat (we dumped it next to the H Dentistry office) and then the gulley next to The Coffee Schack. Meet at H Dentistry at 2:00.
3-4pm: SOCCER: at cottonwood park in Parachute.

2nd service project. Just 2 of us. Two hours later and our town is a little bit better than it has been in this spot for MANY YEARS. Some plastic was so brittle it crumbled when we tried to pick it up. We thought it was so cool how much happier we were when we finished up.
