They are in GREAT NEED of the following ASAP:
Baby Wipes
Children’s underwear (all sizes)
Kleenex tissues
If you can donate any of these items please take to the Basalt High School at 600 Southside Dr. Ask for the Shelter Manager - Barb

Mondays Active Shooter Training is CANCELLED as well. I am sorry to do this but we will have to re-schedule.

The Active Shooter Training Excercise at GVMS has been cancelled today because many of deputies are helping with the fire. Training is still scheduled for Monday afternoon.

So don’t panic if you see lots of law enforcement at the school.

The Rifle Police Department is accepting donations of cases of water, Gatorade and like drinks today from 3 pm to 7 pm.
Drop off at the police department and we will transport all to firefighters and evacuation shelters. Thank you for your support!

***A NEED**Garfield County Fairgrounds in Rifle is being used as a rescue shelter for large animals due to the fire. The have need for 5 gallon buckets and hay. Hay will be tracked and unused hay returned to original owners. Loading chutes available on site. Please share! Needing Grass or Grass/seed mix. No lawn clippings. No Alfalfa.
