On March 3rd, Florence Chapter #61 showed up to support the Job's Daughters at Bethel #18's 2nd annual Chili Cookoff!

Companions AJ Johnson and Jonathan Paz made big vats of chili for the hungry attendees. There were also entrants from the Shrine, Eastern Star, Beauceant, Blue Lodges, and Job's Daughters. The judging was done by Most Worshipful Robert Moninger, Deputy Grand Master Ronald Stites, and Br. Russ Ovens.

The winning chili was made by one of the young ladies from Bethel #18 of Job's Daughters who beat out 12 other submissions to take home the trophy!

Thanks Anthony T. Johnson and Jonathan Paz for representing Royal Arch Masonry at this year's Jobie event!

We have a couple of York Rite events coming up this week.

- The Dark Social will be held at Casio's at 6:30pm on Thursday. Everyone should have already RSVP'd with Carl.

- The Fun Night will be held at Papillion Lodge, starting at 6:00pm on Saturday.

Papillion Lodge #39 is doing a CHIP event on Friday May 25th, and we're looking for volunteers from folks in any of the Papillion Masonic Family bodies. There are lots of ways that you could help, and most of them don't need you to be a dentist. :)

The event will be at the Shadowlake Hy-Vee from 5:00pm - 9:00pm on Friday May 25th, with basic training starting at 4:00pm.

On Thursday the kids from the Masonic-Eastern Star Home for Children's Band will be performing at Papillion Lodge from 7:00pm - 9:00pm

If you're available you might want to check it out! It's great to have a packed house so the kids know that we support them. They work hard each year learning their instruments, so it's always an enjoyable show
