Paonia's amazingly talented artist and illustrator, Eric Ingraham, will be having a book signing at Paonia Books this Saturday, Dec. 16th between 12:00 & 2:00.
He will be more than happy to sign any of his illustrated books, previously purchased or bought that day.
There will be a limited quantity of Cross-Country Cat paperback books for sale and some Henry the Christmas Cat books as well.
And some of his other books on display.
My connection with Eric goes back some years before I met him because I had been reading one of the books he illustrated on KVNF's children's show and had been appreciating and describing the delicate and imaginative illustrations. It was only after we visited him and Ildi in Connecticut that we found out the connection.
So stop by and visit if you can.

Wally and I were recently talking about the possibility that the Earth's new and likely temporary 2nd moon could be a disguised alien spacecraft. Now there is this news...
"On October 19, 2017, astronomers at the Pan-STARRS telescope on Haleakala, Hawaii made an interesting discovery. Researchers discovered an enigmatic cigar-shaped object screaming away from the solar system at nearly 57,000 mph. The entity was moving too fast to have originated from our own system, traveling on a U-shaped hyperbolic orbit that took it around the sun and sent it back out into interstellar space.
Oumuamua, the name given to the interstellar object, means “scout” or “visitor from afar arriving first,” in Hawaiian.
Oumuamua is also the first interstellar object detected in our solar system and like most discoveries, it has raised more questions than answers.
Two Harvard astrophysicists recently proposed that the object could be a “fully operational probe sent intentionally to earths vicinity by an alien civilization” and the idea isn’t as far-fetched as you might think. Aliens are always the least likely answer, but here’s the thing, the more reasonable answer isn’t panning out."

Pot of Gold guests in Easter outfits. Big sister Ruby is a favorite live guest on the show and sister Emerson made her debut in a baby tote. She is walking and starting to talk so it won't be long before she is sitting at the mic.

A very nice show with Ruby & Kendal on Leap Day. Talked about spiders, persistence and the custom that it's okay for women to ask men to get married on Leap Day.
They were not in a rush.

Emerson, who was guest of Pot of Gold as a babe in arms, is now walking talking and playing the Uke.
