The North Fork Valley Creative Coalition (NFVCC) is a Non-Profit community organization located in Delta County, Colorado. We are the legal entity that manages the Paonia Creative District, a Colorado Certified Creative District. We promote all creative industries in the valley, from the arts and agriculture to restaurants, retail business, and all the rest of the marvelous enterprises of the resi

💰Whether you’re applying for your first grant, or looking to strengthen your grant processes, this workshop will introduce the fundamentals of grant writing and help you build a practical strategy for finding and securing funding.

You’ll learn…

-How to identify grants that are the right fit for your project or organization
-The fundamentals of grant writing and how to structure a compelling proposal
-What grantmakers are looking for when evaluating applications
-Resources and tools that can simplify your grant search and writing process
-Common mistakes to avoid and practical tips for improving your chances of success

The workshop will conclude with an open Q&A, giving you the opportunity to ask questions about your own projects and funding goals.

Morgan has been writing successful grant proposals for environmental advocacy organizations, creative initiatives, and community nonprofits since 2020. Her work has secured funding from government agencies, private foundations, and other grantmakers, supporting projects ranging from meat processing facilities and composting and economic development to arts and community programming. Drawing from both her successes and the lessons learned along the way, Morgan offers practical, accessible guidance to help others find funding opportunities and write stronger proposals.

💪 Starting this October, we’re bringing together a group of powerhouse local entrepreneurs, business owners, and community leaders for a six-month experience designed to support and strengthen your skills at every stage.

Through a series of monthly interactive workshops, we’ll dive into topics requested by participants, covering key areas of business operations and growth.

📈 But this program is more than just workshops!

Participants will also have access to mentors, valuable resources, and dedicated coworking time to help turn ideas into action and create a structured framework for greater business success.

Just as important, the Collective is an opportunity to connect with other local entrepreneurs, build meaningful relationships, expand your network, and discover new opportunities for collaboration.

We’re excited to create a space where local businesses can learn, grow, connect, and thrive—together!
