It’s with great sympathy to report the passing of Dale Prothe. He was an active member of American Legion Miami Post 156 in Paola KS. You would see him working Bingo nights, Easter Egg Hunts and as part of the Honor Guard often assigned to bugle duty. He served both our Nation and his community without hesitation, striving to bring a smile to others faces. His wife and granddaughters are members of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 156. Linda Prothe, our love and prayers are with you and your family during this time of grief.

Pictures from Auxiliary 156 treat or treat on the square! We handed out candy and joy to the hundreds upon hundreds of children attending this event. We even handed some member application too! What a great way to invite families to join our Legion Family! What a great way to serve the children and youth of our community! Thank you Commander Hensley, John Schlegel and Harley Davidson for coming out to help the Auxiliary serve our communities children!
