In the summer of 2019, the founder of Mission Philippines was driving and praying about how he could get involved in some kind of missionsโ work. As a child he lived on the streets and had a rough childhood & youth so he had a particular desire to help other young people to have a better life. He looked at and prayed about several countries (including the USA) and during that time had many, many doors โslammedโ shut. It wasnโt until he got involved in the Philippines that he realized this is where God would have him to be and to serve the communities there. God opened so many doors and continues to amaze us with His amazing grace in this ministry. In April of 2022 we began to work with the local children, families & authorities in the Valenzuela, Philippines area to develop a year-round vacation bible school program to serve the spiritual needs of the children there. Once started we quickly noticed the other needs of the community and began to help with the providing of those needs. Since that time God has developed this mission work into something much bigger than any of us imagined it would ever be and it continues to grow. We are now looking to expand into other communities within the Philippines to share but more importantly demonstrate the love of Jesus through the vacation bible school programs and other needs of the communities.
