What an incredible morning on Saturday! Huge thanks to the local family who has hosted this amazing neighborhood Sprint Triathlon for the last 10 years. Every year, they bring the community together to tackle a course and raise funds for a meaningful cause and this year, we were so honored that they chose to support Loving Laura’s Curls!
Thanks to everyone who participated, volunteered and cheered, and gave so generously. The event raised over $1,000! Every single dollar will go toward helping women find a wig they love so that they can face cancer treatment with confidence, dignity, and a smile. Thank you to the host family for their decade-long tradition of giving back, and to all our neighbors for coming out and wrapping your arms around this mission. You all proved once again what a special community this is!

Triathlon this Saturday!
Correction note: Mules (or horses, or whatever long-eared champion this is!) are strictly prohibited on the bike leg. 🐴🚴‍♂️
If you've got human legs, your own bicycle, and know how to swim, come join us for a fun, community Sprint Triathlon this Saturday! It’s organized by local neighbors, completely free to join, and voluntary donations will benefit Loving Laura’s Curls.
The Details:
Course: 10-mile bike ride (bring your own bike, no four-legged shortcuts) 🚴‍♀️ ➔ 5K run 🏃‍♂️ ➔ Open water pond swim 🏊‍♂️
When: This Saturday | Registration at 6:30 AM | Race at 7:00 AM
Where: Located right between Pandora and Bluffton
Cost: 100% Free! (Optional donations go directly to support local women)

Today marks 5 months since Laura’s passing, and we’re honoring the fiercest warrior we know. Following her 2010 diagnosis, she tackled life with pure joy: conquering the 2012 Warrior Dash, taking 2nd Place Female Survivor at the 2014 Findlay Race for the Cure, and finishing on the 50-yard line at the 2015 Ohio State 4-Miler. Even when her head was shaved for her first wig, she faced it with a radiant, beaming smile. That courage is the heart behind Loving Laura’s Curls today—helping local women face treatment with confidence, dignity, and a smile. ❤️‍🩹

Over the last couple of weeks, we had the privilege of fitting three incredible women. Each is fighting a different battle, but all left with the same renewed joy and confidence. Hair loss takes a heavy toll, but helping these brave ladies feel like themselves again—completely free—is why we exist. You three are absolute warriors! Our mission is simple: helping local women face their battle with confidence, dignity, and a smile. ❤️

We just added 9 new wigs to our inventory, bringing us to over 50 wigs in stock! When we started Loving Laura’s Curls, our goal was to make sure no local woman facing a cancer diagnosis had to handle hair loss alone. Having 50+ options means every warrior who walks through our doors can find a style that makes her feel like herself again. Every single fitting with Vanessa is private, comfortable, and completely free.
