Through the efforts of Goshen Community Resource and Recovery Center, Inc., and participating Community Partners, Bay County has become an approved site for the Florida Child Initiative Program, passed by the Florida Legislature and signed by Governor Ron DeSantis. Thank you to all of the Community Partners who participated in our first Florida Child Initiative Site visit. Thank you to Goodwill Training Center for hosting the event.

The STEM Origins Foundation is thrilled to receive a $24,000 grant from The St. Joe Community Foundation, Inc.! This generous support will bring exciting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) tools and equipment to four wonderful Bay District Schools: Oscar Patterson Academy, Bozeman Elementary, Walsingham Academy, and Lucille Moore Elementary.

Congratulations to the school winners of the No Ordinary Joe Scholarship! Each recipient was awarded a $2,500 scholarship and a new laptop to support their future educational goals.

We are incredibly grateful to our community partners at The St. Joe Community Foundation, Inc. for their continued investment in our students and their bright futures. Opportunities like this make a lasting difference, and we are proud to celebrate these outstanding students! The county-wide No Ordinary Joe will be named in April!
