Panama City Rescue Mission We are a faith based non-profit organization offering homeless services. Our women's campus is Gateway Women's & Children's Shelter. Panama City, FL 32401.

Panama City Rescue Mission provides emergency services (food, shelter, clothing), transitional housing, advocacy/referrals, a Christian setting, and special outreaches to homeless and needy men, women, and children of the central panhandle of Florida. Women and children are housed separate from the men, who are housed at the downtown campus. The address to the Women's & Children's Shelter is 1313 E. 11th St. What makes Panama City Rescue Mission different from all of the secular programs that help the homeless? It is the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ as exhibited by lives that are permanently changed by an encounter with the Living God.

💚 COMMUNITY SERVING COMMUNITY 💚

This is what community connection looks like—people showing up, rolling up their sleeves, and serving together!

A heartfelt thank-you to the incredible team from Publix at SweetBay Publixfor spending their Serve Day with the Panama City Rescue Mission. Your willingness to give your time, energy, and helping hands was a beautiful reminder of what can happen when local businesses invest in the people and organizations within their community.

Strong communities are built through relationships, service, and neighbors who genuinely care for one another. We are incredibly grateful for the Publix team and the difference they helped make!

Thank you for choosing to serve alongside us. Together, we are helping hope flourish throughout our community. 🌱

Community connections make a difference! 🤝

The Panama City Rescue Mission was grateful for the opportunity to participate in the local Veteran Stand Down event and the Freedom Network event in Niceville.

Networking events like these allow us to build meaningful relationships, learn about valuable community resources, strengthen partnerships, and connect more individuals and families with the support they need. When local organizations work together, our entire community becomes stronger.

Thank you to the organizers of both events for welcoming us and providing opportunities for collaboration, connection, and service. We are grateful to be part of a community committed to helping people find hope, stability, and a path forward.

🎧 CAN YOU LEND AN EAR? 🎧

We are collecting new earbuds for the residents in our programs at Panama City Rescue Mission.

Earbuds may seem like a small item, but they provide something incredibly important: privacy, dignity, and the ability to focus.

Residents use earbuds to:

• Participate in online classes and appointments
• Complete job applications and employment training
• Listen to Bible studies, sermons, and encouraging messages
• Attend virtual counseling or recovery meetings
• Study and learn without disturbing others in a shared living environment

A simple pair of earbuds can help someone take the next step toward healing, independence, and a brighter future.

If you would like to help, please donate new, wireless earbuds to Panama City Rescue Mission or Bethel Village

You can also purchase them from our Amazon Wishlist and have them shipped directly to us.

Thank you for helping our residents hear hope, pursue opportunity, and move forward. 💛

🌿 Let’s Connect! 🌿

At our Graves Into Gardens Banquet our Development Director Kristen shared that she hoped to personally connect with everyone in the room—and she meant it!

She would love to meet you for coffee or lunch or welcome you for a tour of the Panama City Rescue Mission and Bethel Village. This is not a request for a donation. It is simply an opportunity to learn more about one another, share the heart behind our mission, and explore how we can work together to serve our community.

Interested in connecting? Send me a message, and we’ll find a time that works for you!

A difficult chapter does not have to be the end of someone’s story. 💛

At Panama City Rescue Mission, we believe new beginnings are possible. Through safe shelter, meals, guidance, spiritual support, and a caring community, individuals are given the opportunity to take their next step toward lasting transformation.

Together, we can remind them that their stories are still being written.
