For stop five on our 2026 Regional Conference Cycle, we have arrived in Atlanta, Georgia for the DYNAMIC 50th Southern Regional Conference!

Over 8,000 sorors from Alabama, The Bahamas, Florida, and Georgia, Mississippi and Tennessee are registered to convene for this week’s conference.

We are ready to kick off an action-packed week of activities and events, because the South has spoken and we are here to celebrate 100 years of HERstory in the “A”!

Please join us as we recognize our 2026–2028 Executive Committee and celebrate the beginning of a new biennium. We look forward to advancing Delta's enduring legacy of sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action.

Two hundred fifty years later, America remains a nation of extraordinary promise and unfinished work.

As members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, we proudly carry forward the work of expanding opportunity, advancing justice, and strengthening our democracy for generations to come.

We celebrate freedom while acknowledging that it has not always been experienced equally. We honor those whose courage, sacrifice, and perseverance challenged our nation to become more just, and all who continue that work today.

Wishing a Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers and friends of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated! Today, we celebrate all fathers and father figures who are a constant source of strength and support for their families.

We also hold space for those who are grieving, remembering, or honoring the fathers they carry in their hearts.

Happy !

Today we honor the legacy of the last enslaved African Americans in Texas who were finally informed of their freedom, some two and a half years after President Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation. It was those people, and the generations of Texans who came after them, who made the bold declaration to celebrate this day, marking a reality we know far too well in this country: freedom may be delayed, but it will never be denied.

Though our fight for freedom sadly continues, today we pause to celebrate and embrace the joy of our ancestors who believed in the possibilities of a more promising tomorrow. And in that joy, we remain anchored, steadfast in our pursuit of true freedom and justice for all.
