Last month, we put a call out to the community to help us raise funds for a fence at our Caregiver Respite Center. We have been immensely blessed by the response from the community! Two weeks after making that request, we had an individual donor step up and make a donation to the cover the entire cost of the fence project! Yesterday, the two lovely ladies pictured below from the GFWC Gulf Coast Womans Club, dropped off a $500 check for this project as well! We will use these funds to purchase patio furniture that will meet the special needs of our clients. We are truly grateful for the outpouring of love from our local community to support this very special program. God bless you all and special thanks to our anonymous individual donor and the GFWC Gulf Coast Womans Club!!

We were so thrilled to learn that our grant application to the St. Joe Community Foundation was approved for the purchase of two mini-split AC units for the kitchen at the Coulliette Senior Center. This kitchen is the distribution hub for all of the meals that are served at the other Senior Centers throughout Bay County AND all meals that are delivered through our Meals on Wheels program. The kitchen has never had air conditioning, so you can imagine how excited we are to make this upgrade for our staff and volunteers that work long hours in the kitchen to help the agency carry out this critical service. Thank you, April Wilkes, Executive Director of the St. Joe Community Foundation, for personally delivering our award check today! We truly appreciate the Foundation's support!
