The Bay County Alzheimer's Alliance has been a strong advocate for the clients and services that the Bay County Council on Aging offer for numerous years. We were honored to receive this unbelievable donation of $10,000 today from BCCA! This donation is going towards supporting the Dr. James and Florence Nixon Respite Center which provides respite services for caregivers of clients who suffer from Alzheimer's disease as well as other related degenerative cognitive diseases. The BCCA members also took time to tour our Brain Health program, which is a course offered to seniors in the community to assist them with building brain-healthy routines, increase their personal knowledge base and keep their brain sharp while they age. This is a wonderful 6 week class and is open to seniors in our community. I encourage you to come see us at the Council on Aging and get engaged with us...good stuff happening here! Thank you again, BCAA, for your amazing donation and your long running commitment to our clients and agency as a whole. It was an extra special blessed day at BCCOA!
