For over 100 years, the Bay County Chamber of Commerce has served businesses in and around Bay County. The organization was formed in 1913 to promote the industrial and economic growth of Bay County while serving the cities of Callaway, Lynn Haven, Mexico Beach, Panama City Beach, Panama City, Parker, Springfield and unincorporated Bay County. The Chamber is a strong supporter of our military, work

ing closely with our local installations. Economic development is also high on the Chamber's priority list and promotes business and industrial growth through the Bay EDA. The mission of the Bay County Chamber is “To create superior value for all chamber members, large and small; to cultivate economic and personal development; promote and protect a competitive enterprise system of business; be a community leader, while embracing Bay County’s opportunities and challenges”. We are not run by a small group of big businesses. In fact, 85% of the membership is comprised of businesses with 35 or fewer employees. We are a volunteer organization, owned by the membership, governed by a board and executive committee, managed by a paid staff and accountable to the membership. The Chamber of Commerce is governed by a volunteer board of directors. They are responsible for our financial accountability and policy. The Chamber exists to make Bay County a better place to live, work and play and is always striving to create value for our membership and helping your business grow. The Bay County Chamber is certified by the Florida Association of Chamber Professionals, a certification that sets the highest standards for Chambers of Commerce across the state of Florida. The Bay County Chamber is also award winning having won “Chamber of the Year” by the Florida Association of Chamber Professionals in 2004, 2010, 2016 and in 2019. It’s an exciting time for growth, investment, and opportunity in Bay County! 🌴

Today’s Bay County Economic Development Alliance Investor Meeting brought together business and community leaders for updates on the projects and partnerships helping shape our region’s future.

👏 All In Credit Union was recognized during the Investor Spotlight, sharing not only its continued growth but its commitment to strengthening the communities it serves. Through the Helping Hands Foundation, more than $500,000 has been given back to communities through grants—a great example of what it means to invest beyond business and make a meaningful local impact.

📈 Becca Hardin, President & CEO of the Bay Economic Development Alliance, shared an update on the significant economic development activity underway across Bay County. The EDA is currently working seven active opportunities, while continuing recruitment efforts across aerospace, aviation, marine manufacturing and other industries. Recent efforts have included engagement with the Federal Maritime Commission, international recruitment missions, and conversations with companies considering Bay County for future investment.

🏥 We also heard from HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital about the continued growth of healthcare in our community. The hospital shared plans for a $125 million expansion, including a new patient tower and investments in additional clinical services and capacity to meet the needs of a growing Bay County.

From companies choosing to invest here to organizations giving back to the people who call Bay County home, today’s meeting was another reminder that strong communities are built through collaboration.

The Bay County Chamber of Commerce is proud to support the businesses, organizations, and community partners working together to move Bay County forward.

This is another fantastic example of how hard our community works to build a better Bay! Because of the teamwork, dedication, and passion of so many people, we are able to attract more companies to our community and grow stronger every day. Well done Bay County Economic Development Alliance and welcome Voltari Electric!

"Government at the county, municipal, and state level, as well as academic institutions, are all working in unison to support industry; that's something, as an industrialist, you dream of finding," Founder and CEO Cam Heaps said.

On Tuesday, the county commission approved a tax exemption for Voltari Electric, as part of the negotiated agreement with the Bay EDA.
