Today’s BBIA Lunch & Learn Was Full Steam Ahead! ⚓
Thank you to everyone who joined us today as we welcomed Bob Majka, Executive Director of Port Panama City, for an outstanding presentation and an inside look at one of our region’s most important economic engines.
With more than three decades of public-sector leadership experience and deep roots in Bay County, Bob brings a unique perspective to his new role at the Port. We appreciate him spending time with our members and sharing more about Port Panama City, its role in our local and regional economy, and the opportunities ahead as our community continues to grow.
We were also pleased to welcome the City of Lynn Haven! Thank you for setting up a table and making your team available to answer our members’ questions about building, codes, and development. Partnerships and open communication like this are incredibly valuable to our industry.
A special thank you to Marty Perrett, BBIA Treasurer, FHBA Associate Region Chair, and Commercial Lender with Innovations FCU, for serving as today’s emcee and keeping our program on course.
We also want to thank Brian Knox, BBIA Vice President, Government Affairs Chair, and President of Coastal Classic Homes of FL, for providing today’s invocation and Government Affairs Update and keeping our members informed about the importance of BUILD PAC.
A huge thank you to today’s Lunch & Learn sponsor, Farm Credit of Northwest Florida! Your continued support helps BBIA provide valuable education, networking, and industry connections for our members. And that cooler packed with local goodies made for one fantastic door prize!
Thank you to SmartBank for welcoming our members and guests at today’s Welcome Table and helping us start the afternoon with a warm BBIA welcome.
We also appreciate Claudia Gunselman and Josie Strickland for manning our Membership Table and helping members learn more about ways to get connected and involved with BBIA.
Of course, no BBIA Lunch & Learn would be complete without great food and a great place to gather! Thank you to Angel’s BBQ and Catering for another delicious lunch and Captain Anderson’s Event Center for the beautiful venue and outstanding hospitality.
