🌟 Growing Leaders. Strengthening BBIA. Building for the Future. 🌟

A huge thank you to Kimberly Scott, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of the Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA), for joining us today for Leadership 101: Understanding Nonprofit Board Service!

Kimberly shared valuable insight into what it means to serve as a volunteer leader, the responsibilities that come with board service, and how strong leadership helps organizations like BBIA continue to grow and succeed.

One of our favorite parts of the day was completing the Orange, Green, Blue & Gold personality questionnaire! 🧡💚💙💛 Learning more about our individual communication and leadership styles—and how we can use those differences to work better together—was both fun and incredibly valuable.

Thank you, Kimberly, for investing your time and knowledge into helping BBIA’s current and future leaders grow. The stronger our leaders become, the stronger our association and our industry become!

📣 Interested in becoming more involved with BBIA?

We are still accepting requests from members interested in serving on the BBIA Board of Directors and the BBIA Foundation Board. If you have a passion for our industry, ideas to share, and a desire to help shape the future of BBIA, we want to hear from you!

You don’t have to know everything about board service—you just need to be willing to show up, get involved, and help BBIA grow. 💙🏠
