This is Fran Schofield, passing along a message I got today about the Lynn Haven debris pickup:
All debris has to be out by the road by May 5 because the pick up starts on May 6 and must be divided into groups like house construction in one pile, limbs and things in another pile and household furniture in a separate pile.

04/25/2019

Attention Lynn Haven residents: the City will be doing one final citywide debris pickup starting on May 6th. Residents will have from now until May 5th to put debris on the right of way. As a reminder please do not put debris in ditches or in the roadway. See flyer for more information. Please note; entire demoed houses pushed to the right of way WILL NOT be picked up regardless if a homeowner or a contractor has done the demoing. Thank you!

A last minute reminder of our annual Owner's Meeting today at 6:00 at Bay Haven. Meet at the front entrance by 6pm to enter. This is YOUR Homeowners' Association. Please be present or give your proxy to someone who is attending. We welcome you and your input.

I have served on the board for several years, but will be vacating my position. I have done my best during my tenure to do the best for our community and our neighbors. Another member of the board will be taking over the page, but I feel it is a great way to communicate and hope you will continue to use it. --Fran Schofield

It appears one of our admins accidentally posted some items to this page instead of their personal page of a political nature. We are sorry for anyone who might have been offended. This page is here for neighborhood information. Thanks for those who let us know of the accident.

We just received a call from Gulf Power - a recording stating they will be doing underground work in our area and as a result our power will be out this coming Monday morning from 8:20 until 9:20. We live on Camryn's Crossing and I'm sure you will all receive a call too. They didn't say how large an area would be affected, but wanted to let all of you know in case you didn't receive a call. There was no opportunity to ask questions so I hope I remember the time correctly.

We wish all of our neighborhood students, teachers and other personnel returning to kindergarten, school, college or technical school a very successful and happy school year.

Please remind your children who meet the bus at the entrance to please not walk through the flower bed or sit on the entrance sign. Improvements in the entrance flower bed area are scheduled in the next few weeks.

Parents, please do not park at the stop sign or on the grass in front of the sign to drop off or pick up your children.

With school starting it is a good time to remind everyone to please watch your speed in the neighborhood. We have had complaints of speeders recently. Anyone who witnesses speeding by an identifiable vehicle such as UPS, Fed Ex, utility company, contractor, lawn service, etc., certainly has the option to call the particular company and report that to them.

We have become aware that the back entrance used by contractors on Phase II has been closed, so traffic will probably increase due to this closure. Unfortunately we have no control over that situation.

It appears another reminder is needed. Please be considerate of your neighbors when walking your dog in the neighborhood and clean up their deposits as you go. Put yourself in their place and Imagine if your toddler fell down into one of the deposits or your guest stepped into one in their favorite pair of shoes. Two different neighbors who live on different streets in our neighborhood are having repeated incidents. Do unto others.....

Happy Father's Day to all of you Dads in the neighborhood.

Hey Neighbors,
Please read information from the Phase II developer below.

Also, a few related notes:

- Phase II is not part of Camryn's Crossing HOA. Phase II will have a similar, but separate HOA.
- Burg Management and the Board of Directors have no legal authority to require any action from the developer of Phase II.
- Developers and/service providers have a legal utility right of way access position. You have a reasonable expectation the area is returned to the same condition upon completion of work.
- We have met the developer and his demeanor is professional and he recognizes the importance of being a good steward during the development of Phase II. We view the relationship during the development process as mutually beneficial.
- We also recognize a limited position of cooperation.

From Phase II developer:

“We wanted to see if you could send out some information to the homeowner’s on Dragonfly from the cul-de-sac down to the manhole south of the cul-de-sac. This area will be disrupted due to the forcemain installation. Work will take approx. 2 weeks to complete and all disturbed areas will be restored. Homeowner’s may also be inconvenienced with entrance to their driveways throughout the day but will be accessible by the end of the working day. “
