What an inspiring Rotary meeting! 🌟

We were honored to welcome Lieutenants Anthony and Jessica Shaw, Corps Officers of The Salvation Army Panama City Corps. They shared how they lead worship, community programs, and vital social services—all rooted in sharing the love of Christ through compassionate service, meaningful partnerships, and opportunities that help individuals and families thrive.

We’re grateful for their dedication and for the powerful difference The Salvation Army continues to make across our community. ❤️
And there’s more to celebrate! 🎉 We’re thrilled to welcome Haden Sirmon as the newest member of the Rotary Club of Panama City! Please help us give Haden a big Rotary welcome in the comments. 💙💛

Together, we’re creating connections and putting Service Above Self into action throughout Panama City.

One of those afternoons where the room just felt good.

05/10/2026

This week’s speaker happened to already be sitting in the room.

Art Kimbrough shared some hard-earned lessons about rebuilding, resilience, and starting over more than once in life.

A few familiar traditions before the meeting begins.

Some weeks, you don’t think much about it.

You just show up, sit down, and the conversation goes where it goes.

And somewhere along the way, it ends up being more interesting than you expected.

And then the presenter just blows you away.

There’s always someone in the room you haven’t met yet.

You sit down, start talking, and somewhere along the way you realize how much you didn’t expect to have in common.

Different backgrounds. Different paths.

Same table.

That’s part of what makes this worth being part of.
