We are proud to stand with our brothers and sisters in the EOD community.

Operation Wellness Shield supported the 2026 EOD Memorial Weekend hosted by the EOD Warrior Foundation .

We were honored to be there honoring the fallen and serving those still fighting.
The EOD mission is one of the most dangerous in the world. The least we can do is make sure these warriors and their families have a path forward for their health, fertility, mobility, and future.

New Research Gives Hope for Better Brain Tumor Treatment in Men

A new NIH-funded study suggests that testosterone may suppress brain tumor growth in males, particularly with aggressive glioblastomas (GBM).

Researchers found that loss of testosterone accelerated tumor growth in preclinical models, while supplemental testosterone significantly improved survival rates in men with glioblastoma.

This is a fascinating and hopeful development, especially for the many veterans and first responders we serve who face elevated cancer risks due to service-related exposures.

It also reinforces why Operation Wellness Shield’s focus on hormone optimization and testing is so important. Balanced hormones aren’t just about energy and mood, they play a much bigger role in long-term health than we previously understood.

We’ll be following this research closely as it develops.

This weekend, Operation Wellness Shield will be in Fort Walton Beach honoring our Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) warriors at the EOD Weekend.

From the Memorial Ceremony to the Golf Tournament, Chefs Cook-Off, and the 58th EOD Memorial Ball — we’re proud to stand with the men and women who run toward danger so the rest of us don’t have to.

We’re especially honored to have a table at Saturday’s EOD Ball and look forward to connecting with the EOD community, veterans, and first responders.
