Triwizard-Con 2015

The proceeds of the convention will go to charity. The Triwizard Tournament is the main event, but each task will not take all day. So there will be a lot of time left over for the usual con activities. Triwizard-Con 2015 is being planned as a small to midsized con. The goal is for the tournament to be open to candidates on a global scale. There will be an age line. The candidates will be narrowed

down to three champions by an insanely long and difficult test. (Nothing that can be found on page one of google) With the test, an essay with the topic of why the candidate thinks the "Goblet" should choose them as a champion should be included. Since our champions are not bound by magic to compete, we need to make sure that the people chosen are highly committed to finishing the tournament. (Extenuating circumstances are of course allowed.) In the event of a tie that will give us well more than 3 champions, the judges can narrow the list to 3 using the essays. A current goal of the convention is to offer 1,000 galleons ($10,070) prize money, eternal glory, and a personally engraved Triwizard Cup to the winner of the tournament. There will be a Yule Ball. The champions will open with a dance.
