It’s Volunteer Appreciation month and we want to recognize our amazing volunteers for this quarter. We provide transportation anywhere in town to our neighbors who are over 65 and we could not do what we do without these volunteers. Here’s a few pics of the 8 ramps we built with Texas Ramp Project in Pampa this past weekend. Thanks to volunteers from Resound, the GrayCares Board members, multiple organizations from Amarillo, and several Pampa community members for making life easier for our older neighbors!

Texas Ramp Project will be in Pampa on Saturday, February 21st, to build 8 ramps for our older neighbors. We need volunteers! No experience or tools necessary — just willing hands! Texas Ramp Project has already designed the ramps and will bring team leaders to tell you what to do. Will probably be done around lunch time/early afternoon depending on how many volunteers show up. Start the new year by giving back to your community! Our older neighbors need rides to the doctor, the beauty shop or barbershop, the bank, the post office, the grocery store or the pharmacy. We provide transportation anywhere in town. Call me at 806-688-7109 to get signed up to be a volunteer and experience the joy and blessing of helping someone in need!

Our Christmas Blessing Bags were a huge success this year! Over 45 volunteers helped pack and deliver 125 bags to our clients in Pampa and Lefors. More than 35 individuals and businesses donated items for the bags. We have received multiple calls from our clients telling us what a huge blessing it is to receive a bag. It’s something that they look forward to each year. Special thanks to all of you who made this blessing possible! Our donors and volunteers are the BEST!
