About the Palos Verdes Independence Day Committee
The Palos Verdes Independence Day Celebration Committee was founded in 1962 by PVE resident volunteers and continues to be funded solely by private donations from Peninsula residents. Their hope is to applaude American values, celebrate our nation's independence, magnify our heritage of freedom and promote patriotism. The celebration has now becom

e an annual community tradition where volunteers work together to provide a day of family fun and to renew a sense of appreciation for our independence.
